Moonlight Snow - Big Bear

Federal Road - Maine

While visiting a friend's home in Maine, we decided to take an Autumn drive through the countryside. They called this a "peak" day because the trees were at their fullest of color. This was my first time ever seeing the colorful trees of a New England Fall. As we came down a dirt trail that they call "Federal Road" we saw this scene where we could only stop and stare. I snapped the photo you see here. The next day, a small wind storm came through and blew everything away.
